Hi David,
for plugins I use a Behringer bcr 2000. But, as far as I know the QCon pro can 
farily do its job with the plugins that proTools uses. there are lots of 
asignable keys to work with and things as send, pan EQ and others are one knob 
reachable. If the plugins were a real issue, the reviewers of other shops and 
sites, would have mentioned this, because, that would have ment a great 
showstopper.
But, if you have other info, please share it, so I can read this for myself.
