Ron,

Did you remember to arm the track? It's not going to just naturally let you 
hear it within Pro Tools, unless you have an audio track which is either armed 
or input monitor enabled.

Go look at chapter 5 of the PT Access guide. It will be very beneficial. All of 
this is covered.

You do not need to create an aggrigate device to make this work. You can, but 
it isn't necessary. For what you're wanting, if you only just wanna monitor 
through PT, that would be a bit overkill.
