Yep I totally agree with that too - I was mainly making a point there, in
regard to 3d acceleration and 'free' since it seems that there is quite a
limitation there, and if my impulse is toward 3d I feel quite limited to be
part of that movement.

But  I agree that purist are always a inspiration - and tend to create
really colorful conversation :) - yet I tend to not spend to much time to be
at one extreme, so I can find my own path.
