hmm.  In the past, longer than 3 months.  Our team has grown and our  
release process matured so much, it's hard to compare with past  
cycles, or estimate how long it'll be this time.  Conservatively, I  
can't promise that 0.8 final will be released by end of summer.   
Titus, what's your opinion?

On a positive note, I can promise backwards compatibility, i.e. if you  
use 0.7 features they'll continue to work in 0.8.
