Duuude... I got wxmaya fully working in OSX Snow Leopard (maya 2010). It
works perfectly, apart from mayas menu loosing all events (I think this one
is fixable) and some weird keyboard focus when running pyshell (and any
other string/text control, I believe).

The threading seens to hold up pretty well... so far no crashs!!

I'm happy!! :)

I also started porting the controls to wxmaya. I think really soon I'll have
some basic wx controls with dinamic back and forward update from maya, just
mimicking mel ui controls behaviour.
