It seems i am replying to earlier emails and then yours arrives with
further details etc. I will remove the LRESPR win1_ipcextuk_bin
and then refit the RomDisq and reboot. IPCMOUSE 1 doesn't seem to
work and I was told i should use IPCMOUSE 5 or 6 instead which also
doesn't seem to work.
I need to track down a QUBIDE manual on-line. Once done i
shall give it a read.

This I assume is the win boot.
Try booting with romdisq and pressing 'break' repeatedly after
pressing
F1/F2 - you might get in before SMSQ loads. If not, connect the
Romdisq
disable jumper and follow the instructions in the manual.

See where it is plugged in to Supergoldcard - it should be the top
connector - and of course it should go to the drives. If it is the
wrong
way round on the drives, they will probably both light up permanently.
Also check that the power cable is plugged in to the floppies.

If you get a floppy disk boot working, then that will run before
Romdisq
or HD.
