Too early now to know if GSE will work ...

I'm so depressed and bummed.

I finished my 2-week antibiodic for my proteas infection 9 days ago  It was obviously working as my urine was real clear, no odor, etc.

This past Monday night I got my cath changed.  Yesterday
morning husband Dave said "your urine smells real strong."  Which
is never the case so shortly after a cath change.

Then last night I got the indicative shakes and my temp
was going up.  Shit!  I took Tylenol to bring the fever
down as those shakes nearly kill me.  Plus slight nausea
- more like reflux.  With Cipro on hand I took that too.

My shakes stopped and I slept well but but temp is
100.5 this morning.

This proteaus infection began way back on Dec 13th!
But the antibiodic Cefuroxime-axetil, in all areas,
seemed to be doing the trick.

We took an hour drive north yesterday to get out on a lovely day
here in AZ.   I had some pain on the trip but it pretty much went away
after getting home.  Then last night

We need such a break from all these factors.  Dave still
has insomnia and is exhausted.  Bad news everywhere ...
A gem of an aide began here 2 months ago.  Now she's 'moving on.'
I just wish she would have been upfront unless it was a
decision recently made.  More opportunity and money she says.

But they need more people like her in the health care field.
When I first met her she said taking care of people is what
she's always wanted to do even though she's only 21.

But 21 going on 35.

I'm awaiting a call from my Dr's office on what to do.  I feel
'ok' now but Tylenol & Cipro is kicking in.

I hope to get my culture results tomorrow.  My nurse took a sample
Monday just to see if the other infection was gone.

These back-to-back UTIs are unsolvable.  I just started my GSE
tablets yesterday.  But if the infection was already there (no doubt now that
it was) then it won't work as a prophylactic.

I'll be in bed tomorrow as Dave has to take my chair downtown to
put the new part in.  I need to be out of the chair for them to do the job.
With rain .. good day as any to have to stay in bed.

Depressed, confused and bummed,

Lori
