Well Sean we are more in the same boat than you think. I am using a 13-year-old arrow storm also. I ordered a Permobile and while I think some things might be better, I'm sure there are going to be things I absolutely despise.
I had the same problem with the electronics, but I thought I could eventually learn to deal with it. Not having a representative that will help you with the seating process is another story, however. I simply did not accept the chair. I took the chair home to try out, but I let them know it was only just to see if there were some suggestions I might be able to make that would facilitate the process. After telling them repeatedly that I was unable to sit in the chair for more than 20 minutes, I returned the chair to my therapist and told them I would not take possession of the chair until they completed the seating process and got the chair working properly. My therapist called the vendor repeatedly and we kept getting different vendors. In the end my therapist told prosthetics that the vendor had not been responsive and was able to order another chair for me. I hope you are able to get what you want. I'm going from a Peachtree to a Magitek, not to mention a completely different seating system. It's going to be a huge adjustment. I just want to get on with it.
