Thanks. This sounds like what I need. Only problem, the cost will come from my
wallet. A rough road any way you go.

[QUAD-L] bad chair

I hope by now you've looked at www.roadrunnermobility.com and made arrangements
with them. Be that as it may. You can't imagine the legal ramifications these
days with DME working on wheelchairs not sold by them. The other side is being
reimbursed by CMS for equipment not paid for by CMS. It is such a major
business headache that most DME, 'just say no.'

Since Invacare purchased RoadRunner Mobility in Janurary of this year, most of
the field service is being done by them in North America. This might be
another issue with the local DME as Invacare pays Road Runner less money than
they did the DME for service work done for the provider.

You and so many others may find yourself between a rock and a hard spot because
of this. Hence it is always wise to develop friendships with local DME's
before you need them and not during an emergency.

Again, Best Wishes

First thing I checked. I'm feeling very urinated on and frustrated right now.
There are 3 Invacare dealers within 20 miles of me. None of them will even
look at the chair. Why? Because I didn't buy it there. I bought it from an
individual. You would think a certified dealer would provide service to its
company products, like Ford or Chevy, but not so. Their basic answer was -
tough luck bud, but we'd love to sell you a new one. Greedy jerks. I have no
idea how to get it fixed.

Are you sure that the levers are in the up position for driving versus pushing?

guys, my invacare power chair has died on me. The control box and batteries are
ok because I tested them. Every one of the lights on the control box are on.
The 'gas gauge' is lit from one side to the other and all the power level
lights are on at once. The chair does nothing. Any ideas?
