Hi Eric,I'm so glad that you brought up this topic.. I always wondered if
everyone in the group had trouble sleeping? I think it's hard for us to relax,
unless we are exhausted. I don't think we use enough energy to burn calories
or possibly need as much sleep. I think a lot of us have difficult life
situation. I have had problems sleeping Since my initial injury. I have to
physically see my sleep doctor every year and have video chats in between. She
says are another other medications, but I have not wanted to change because
I've changed so many times throughout my life and most of them did not work.
It helps me to listen to audible.I know this sounds crazy but I got a sleep
mask from my doctor, when I had a sty. My caregiver warms it up in a microwave
and it really allows me to sleep. I recently tried some lidocaine patches, and
it helps with my shoulder pain. I also use bio freeze. It's like referred
pain. I can't feel to touch, but there is pain that is sharp. Dana C 4-5

I am really glad I brought this up. I thought I was the only one that slept
as poorly. You all make me feel normal. Thanks

I don't think I get that much sleep. Part of my problem is I start my every
other day bowel program at 3am. I should start it later around 5am,but I worry
about things continuing into day shift. Truthfully I don't think that 2 hours
would make any difference. I feel like a 3rd shift worker that can't sleep at
night on the weekends because his body is used to being up at night. After
doing some more research on what Edward Said, it looks like I am going to have
dementia with or without ambien

I probably get about 3 hours of broken sleep each night.

Do you have trouble sleeping? I can't sleep for sh#t even when I take
ambien and melatonin. The obvious problem of not being able to toss and
turn to get comfortable is something we all share. The big problem for
me is that I can't shut my mind off. I can't help but worry about
everything and nothing. Even if I am not worried about something, I
can't just clear my mind. How about all of you? Any tips from a quad
perspective? I have read every article about sleeping well.
