Th 840 is a uniform model across both sides of the pond from what I can
determine, it does PAL NTSC an SECAM out-of-the-box. The PSU on mine is
100-240VAC tolerant too. Some say there are 840av machines with
100-150VAC PSUs so there may be a difference but the only difference
that is obvious is the caddy vs. tray CD drives.

I'm nutz about 840avs. I've been raving about them ever since I got
mine :). Masterpiece of design, definitely Apple in a good mode of
thinking, they always were good at 'no expense spared' machines, look at
the G4 :).
