I haven't changed the AFM, the correct one I had has disappeared, I assume from 
your question that there is a difference between the two. Apart from the idle 
the car goes like a rocket..... scary quick.

Did you let the ecu calibrate itself when you first  started it ?
 
You need to start it from cold, don't touch the  throttle and let the engine 
warm up on idle until the fan cuts it.
If you need to reset it then pull the ECU  continuous feed fuse for 30 seconds 
and then refit, this will clear the ecu  memory.
 
Did you find the correct 1.8L 115ps AFM, i think  the last one you had was from 
the 1.6
