Am interested in this one as I need to do mine soon.  Bearing in mind
that mine is the Zetec version with the box offset, mine has captive
nuts on the pedal box (as suppied by Q with the kit), so it is simply
a case of undoing the pipes and the two bolts and lifting it off.  It
is just a straight pushrod that goes onto the end of the cylinder.
The issue I have got is finding someone who will just supply a repair
kit instead of a reconditioned master cylinder, although my cylinder
is not one of the more common ones.  Have tried googling and the motor
factors.
