Hard top back on for winter.. took it for a drive today and found I couldn't get the damn thing to demist. Then when opening the doors I think I found the cause.. the fabric bits on the door cards just around the front quarter lights were sopping wet, any idea where it's getting in?
Fixed a few niggles. Indicator self cancel was a problem, fixed by removing the steering wheel and moving the self cancel ring round to the correct position with the cam facing the indicator at dead ahead. Passenger seat adjustment was broken.. until fixed with the same cable tie setup the drivers seat has. Got some springs supposedly for a derv, not sure if they'll fit but I'll see if the mechanic I'm taking it for to have the carbs sorted can look at it. The gearbox is a bit vocal at idle, wondering if it's starting to chew itself up and has eaten the speedo gear as a result. Also purchased a clock with temperature gauge and voltmeter.
