>Hard top back on for winter.. took it for a drive today and found I
couldn't get the damn thing to demist. Then when opening the doors I
think I found the cause.. the fabric bits on the door cards just around
>the front quarter lights were sopping wet, any idea where it's getting
in?
Probably the joint between the "hockey stick" and the door, it might not
have any sealant between the 2 parts, or, it might be like my 2+2 where
the water crept through the small recess at the top of the joint formed
by the radius between the 2 parts, I levelled it off with sealant to
make it flat.
>Fixed a few niggles. Indicator self cancel was a problem, fixed by
removing the steering wheel and moving the self cancel ring round to the
correct position with the cam facing the indicator at dead ahead.
This should have a lug on the rear that only fits onto the column in one
position, tightening the steering wheel up with the ring in the wrong
position normally breaks it BTDT.
