That interesting and would explain why Omar found the Sirocco glass was too big at the point. I would assume that the glass with 017 would have been ground as it came with the bodyshell, maybe a template could be drawn from that glass.

Grinding toughened glass is interesting, it has a tendency to explode into lots of little bits.

Secondly. They paid a cut glass crystal maker to round off the rear edge so 
that it would fit the Vahxhall Cevette rubber seals. These seals were from the 
2 door version of the Cevette.

thought to try and ask window makers if they can round off the edge. Failing
