That looks about right for 66 miles, depending how far over the top of the
gauge the needle started from.
I tend to think each quarter of the gauge is about 50 miles.
The red area I think of as 50 miles long, although by the time the tank runs
dry the needle is way below that. (I carried a 5L can in the boot while I
tried that experiment).
When I fill up I go slow after the first click then stop after the pump has
clicked for the 3rd time.

Normally by now it'd be approaching way below half but as you can just see
it's near the top.
The only difference this time is that I filled it up and the pump clicked.
Normally I put £20 in and that's all. Is it possible that somehow the
reading has always been wrong and in fact the reading now is correct? Ah, I
really don't know! Ha!
