Being a blind user myself I can say that there is a slightly more tedious sollution to the problem. Press Control L to get into the event list, or just find it in the edit menu (it should be one of the last items at the bottom.) The event list shows all midi events; notes, controllers, programs, tempo changes, time signature changes, and any other midi event you can think of, as well as allowing you to change any of there properties. You can add events or remove them as well. I say it's more tedious because it displays every single event, as aposed to the note and controller editors, which only display their own type of midi event. The manual should help you change values but if you still have problems after you have read it, please let me know.
