It sounds like something isn't passing MIDI Clock through to the plug-in
interface. I have MIDI clock turned off right now in QWS because BassMIDI 1x
doesn't respond well to it, so I can't test this out. I plan on installing
BassMIDI 3x soon, as they fixed the latency problem they had in the 2x
versions, and with luck it'll fix that problem. But any program that can't take
external clock, especially SMPTE, and pass it through into usable timecode to
plug-ins, isn't going to cut it for soundtrack work. This is at this point the
single thing that keeps me going back to Sequencer Plus -- the lack of SMPTE
support for QWS means anything I sync to film has to run from the older
program. It's a shame, because of course virtual instruments are impossible
with a DOS application. I've got a work-around, but it requires a second
computer that only does soft synths and other virtual sound sources.
