Research cited by Goleman in his book Emotional Intelligence showed that IQ, education and professional experience were less important determinants of long-term professional success than what he called "emotional intelligence." I'd be interested to hear your perspective on this. In your experience as a recruiter, how much of the delta between the salary of a junior and that of a senior who's changed careers is a result of technical experience? How much is a result of experience in the so- called 'soft skills?' --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
