Again I think robbery is a bit to much to overlook for a GMA or Eagle Scout.  Only God can forgive sin.  I have to live by laws established by God and man.  Robbery can be forgiven by God.  Man has a penalty for it.  I can overlook sin.  Some sins I overlook daily.  Others cannot be overlooked.

If we held to forgiveness only what would you do with someone who daily hurts another?  It is easy to say we could forgive them.  But let me put it on a personal level. If something is stolen from you.  I have had things stolen from me.  Vehicle broken into.  etc.. I want the offender punished so they don't do it to another.  After they receive their punishment and have asked for forgiveness.  It is my obligation as a Christian to forgive them.

God established Laws and punishments.  He is also the master of GRACE.
Again I think robbery is a bit to much to overlook for a GMA or Eagle Scout.

What about lying?  Speeding?  Evil thoughts?  Aren't all sin?  Were all the board members free of any "convictions" for violating law?  When did one sin/mistake become worse/better than another?

How do we know when to draw the line?
