I think robbery is a bit much to overlook for a GMA or a Eagle Scout. A GMA/Eagle Scout should have a moral charecter very well intact at the time of his honoring. I personally could not turn my head and overlook it. Not everyone is a GMA not everyone is a Eagle Scout. Make the standards cheap and you no longer have a GMA or Eagle Scout you only have a meaningless title that has no merit of measure.
Just because someone earns a GMA or Eagle Scout doesn't mean they are perfect and will never sin. We all know better than that. But at the time of review and honor one should be behond reproach.
