Well said. I too found my self agreeing with both Bob and A#1 at times and disagreeing at times as well. I was going to post this a couple days ago...but never got to it.
Everything we do as Royal Rangers needs to be bent around Jesus. Reaching, Teaching, Keeping all require a solid faith in Jesus and what he has done for us at the Cross. In one way it might be being a good ear and just listening. Another time it might be giving good council. Another time it maybe saying nothing and doing something. The next time it may very well be showing the young man how to stay dry in a rain storm with what you have. I can think of a gill ion things that would be a right thing to do and yet if I did only that one good thing every time I would soon be very very wrong. The balance is the key. The emblem story that was shared here on Ranger net comes to mind where the points of the emblem were way out of balance. Good posts by all parties on this topic. I have enjoyed the line of thought.
