Hello All:
I have a question that really isn't RR business, but is important to me
personally. A few months ago I was blessed with the gift of interpretation.
It's still very new and definitely not fully understood by me.
Last Sunday I got a word. It was not in tongues. I know it was from God
because I always pray when this happens that the Lord will be with me and not
let anything of me or the world come through. I want very much to be in line
with God. No word was given in tongues, so this was not an "interpretation."
I felt compelled to give it. The same thing happened in the evening service.
No one said anything to me except my husband later at home when we were
sharing about our day. He said I should have waited for the message in
tongues to come and then given the interpretation. I had waited and I had
prayed before I gave the word that was given to me.
I'm very confused. At other times I've heard a word given by someone else in
service when there had been no message given in tongues.
Can anyone out there give me some help in clearing this up. I only want to be
in line with God. I wish to be a vessel to be poured out. I would not do
anything to endanger what God has given.
