I am by no means an authority, but it seems that we are getting away from what it
really is. God is telling us something. In my experience God tries to tell me
something and if I (in one way or another) do not hear (or receive) what is said, he
may choose to use someone to let me know or allow me to "find out the hard way."
Interpretations is used to edify the church. A word of knowledge is specific to the
individual. Either case is not always pleasant but is uplifting if I receive it in
the proper way.
