Hey all,
I know I am a little late with the answer on this post. It was hanging in my
mailbox waiting for some free time.. But I read it today and do want to add
something.
I agree that Rangers is for the boys (girls). I do also agree that men and
women get ministered with this too. Even in a powerful way. I've seen it
already here in Russia with our short history of it.
But I think it would be a mistake to make it adjusted too much for adults
too. Adults also get ministered if they want to follow. And they usually
become leaders after a while. If they do not follow, usually we can do
nothing for them, and their being in Rangers is distracting and fruitless.
About children, they are subject to other's influence and can easier be
changed. So I usually do not kick them out of rangers for not being
followers and bringing distraction. Do you? ;-)
So I think we simply more or less balanced with this kid-adult thing. Of
course if you lead your outpost right.
Boris

*I want to be sure Spirit Rider knows that his "Idea" is not all that
far fetched... and even might be "fun"<G>
Just remember that a Royal Ranger is under 18 years old...
I'm older than that, and so I must be an "Adult Leader" or in some way
help out the Outpost, but my *Time as a "Ranger" is over....
