I believe that the Bible teaches us
everything we need to hold in our arsenal against the enemy when we’re
young Christians. Obviously we need to learn more and
stretch our wings and intellect as we grow in the Lord and in our personal
walks, but we’re talking about kids here. We don’t have to lie to our kids to
teach them it’s wrong, and we don’t have to subject them to false
doctrine for them to be able to recognize the difference between what they’re
being taught at church and by their parents. To do so would invite heretical doctrine into
the children’s programs that doesn’t have any place there. I don’t think I could state it any
better than Josh except to be sure that we concentrate on getting the TRUTH
taught to these kids. Basic Milk and
Cookies doctrine, no need for Caviar and Crme Brulee at this age. J Teach the Truth… or as I always tell my kids… if you
work on doing the “do’s”, you’ll not have time to worry
about the “don’ts” IMHO… Parson -----Original Message----- In a message dated 6/15/2001
