On this is for certain…. As we continue to be human we’ll continue to compare ourselves against one another in an attempt to justify our own actions, thoughts or beliefs.  That’s just human nature.

Where we can get carried away with it is when our comparisons end in condemnation for those unlike ourselves…. That is the area where we’d better tread lightly.

Obviously there are blatant sins mentioned in the word, but Jesus thought out of the box.  He had the gaul to actually want to minister to and save the lost…. Which totally got under the skin of the ‘Jewish high command’ …. Hmmm… sounds familiar, yes?

Let’s all remember to love one another, as that was the greatest commandment.  I suspect as we follow that commandment, we’ll have little time to worry about comparisons and doctrinal stewing.

Let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone that loves is born of God and knows God.  He that loves not, loves not God, for God is love…. 1 John 4:7&8…   everyone sing now  hehe.

Parson.

I wasn't saying that you are teaching prosperity theology,
just wondering if that is what you were arguing.

I know.  I was answering your question.  Only I'm not arguing.  Don't read
emotion into an e-mail - it can't be done.

In the prosperity poing you are right, but I do believe that we
as followers of Christ can judge others by their fruits. not "the
fruit of the Spirit" but of fruits of service and christian living.

And I don't believe we should judge others.  Treat others like you want to be
treated.  If you want to be judged - then judge.
