> No. YOU (nor I) judge that - judging is God's
> responsibility - thankfully!
*This break is brought to you by the boys who
ask for fairness in word and deed when it comes
to instruction.<G>
The TRUTH is that a lot of good judgement comes
from BAD judgement and the resulting correction.
*I (-=A=-) beleve that *Reflection leads to self-
correction and thus trust the boys to address the
*minor problems that crop up at a camp as the
finest Character building tool ever made<G>
> Sounds like some A/G churches I've been in - and
> some Baptist, and
> Presbyterian, and Methodist. So are they all bad?
Give it a rest<G>
All fall short of the Glory of God!
If we are "tangled up" over doctrine.. then no way
should we teach anything but a generic layman's
simple word. I'm seeing the path to walk is as
a Leader befriend boys and by action allow the boys to
discover truth. *This has to happen out in the open
in discussion of "why things are the way they are"
> You said you "ONCE went
> to ONE". Do you know for a fact that they didn't
> invite and reinvite those
> 275 families to church? Do you know for a fact that
> all 275 were left
> behind? Some may have gone to other churches (God
> forbid that someone not
> like OUR church), how many people saved in your
> church over the last year are
> still attending your church? How many did you
> mentor? As a teenager were
> you really aware of what was going on or did you
> simply respond/react to what
> you heard from adults?
*Bingo on that one thought!
---------------------------
RR Leaders "bask" in the belief that we are to
be "role models" and from our lips comes the
"wisdom of the ages"... In fact we Dominate.
If you want a tight small group of Robot Rangers,
then allways correct every thought a boy utters.
When his spirit is corraled.. and he can regurgitate
everything you say.. then your job is done!
But... if "Freedom" is valued, then by backing
off you build the significance of critical thinking
through open communication. When you show respect..
to others, your "worth" increases.
*Simplicity of Character is the result of profound
thought.
