Well, as far as it being law for the dean or president to accomodate you...I would not be too sure. Just yesterday I was listening to a talk show on radio, I think it was Family Life with Dennis rainey or something, they were talking about college classes on pornography. A student was required to take a class in which the final exam consisted of producing a pornographic video. The female proffessor stated that it should be as "risque" as they could imagine. The student took this to the president, who supported the professor, saying that the class held merit and included valid subject matter. The college?  Wesleyan University, named after John and Charles Wesley.

Wonderful, Michael.  I applaud you.  As far as going to the dean or
principal, they will accomodate you,it is the law.  "Stand, therefore", is
what the Bible says.  "Having done all to stand."  These educators don't know
the effect the books have on any individual, they only know that kids who do
not read are now reading.  Frapper teaches special ed and he offers
alternative exciting books to his kids and so far is successful.  The other
teachers applaud Harry and others because the kids READ.  So, no one is at
fault, just ignorant of the effects that's all.  Look up Harry on the
internet and see what his author says about Christians and their way of life.
