All this talk reminds me about a problem I'm having with
a client. Installation of PCAnywhere and its operation has
been painless for every client I have up until now.
Both of us are using 10.5, I have a dialup connection, they
have a DSL line. It won't work in either direction (both of
us have tried to be the host). The host will "answer" and
the icon says "remote user is logging in", but the remote
user actually never sees a thing and eventually the host
logs off. XP computers on both ends.
