David,
We have re-installed Rbase a number of times on this particular PC and
that's when we get the error message.  We run RBase with the program files
on each individual HDD and the data on the network.

YOu need to have a backup of the file - yhou should always keep one on
floppy or somewhere else on the network. If you don't have it, then you'll
have to reinstall R:Base.
