thanks for taking the extra time to take photos! And everyone else with the 
links and advice, what a great list!

I guess the flat 65 is the front runner right now. A little more than I 
originally hoped to spend but isn't that always the way.....


Drw, one of the main differences between metal and plastic fenders (at 
least to me) is metal fenders usually have a rolled lip along the edge that 
prevents water from flowing out the sides and blowing back on you. I think 
plastic fenders are easier to install and safer as many have quick releases 
and can flex a bit if something jams them. So each has its merits. Also 
metal just looks way nicer imo. 

Peter, Please post back with your results! And that Noreaster is one of the 
coolest bikes I have ever seen!
