I think that everyone should just chill and forget this ever happened. It
doesn't matter if you spell color or colour, they are the same word, just
different spelling. I too have never seen conversation deteriorate to this
level before. This group is meant to be for the discussion of remote control
tank combat, not for the discussion of regional spelling differences and a
haven for spelling Nazis.

Anyway. Wiimotes have been used by people as computer mice and to control
USB missile launchers. They are perfectly capable of controlling an RC tank,
as they have built in accelerometers and gyroscopes as well as having an IR
sensor. The IR sensor is only there for synchronising (with no Z) I believe.
Whether or not it would be a good controller is up to debate, as the Wiimote
motion sensing would probably be used for turret aiming, which leaves the
t-pad t control movement. I think the t-pad is digital, unless it is touch
sensitive, like the PS2 controllers, but the touch sensitivity on those
suck.

I would take up the challenge, but since I'm not in the USA, It would be
hard to get the money, plus the system would cost more than $100.
