Wrong. The point is that chances are good nobody from RS is even reading this list, let alone a long belly-aching thread such as this one. And they certainly can't respond to something they don't even see. This is a USER list, intended to give us a chance to help each other. It is not an RS support forum, nor is it intended to be a place to vent frustrations -- though it has often become that, resulting in at least some of the remaining RS engineers unsubscribing from it.
I tended to follow this list and respond when I could when I worked at RS, but that was my own choice, not part of my job description. And even I would start ignoring a thread when it had clearly devolved beyond the point of useful discourse.
When you have a problem, use the proper support channels: the feedback system, the developer program, cornering Geoff at REAL World, etc. Adding noise to this list just makes it less and less useful for anyone. I'm about this far -> <- from unsubscribing too.
