Slow to launch? The only time I am launching it is when they come
out with a new Alpha or Beta, all other times it is always running, I
thought everyone did the same thing.

Agreed. RB 2006 has a lot of things to like over RB 5.5. However,
the speed problem is a real issue, not something that should be
dismissed as something experienced only by "a noisy few".
RB 2006 is a PIA to launch and a PIA to build with because of how
slow it is on my Macs. There is no other word for it.
