For us it was the team hostile nature of RB 2005 and 2006r1, especially with regards to version control. 2006r2 is better but still not quite there. As well 2006r2 is the first version of 200x that loads our projects without extensive changes. Any solo projects move forward to the latest version when they are scheduled for a major release or when the new RB version fixes a critical issue. We belong to the beta project and test our projects against the latest release during the beta cycle.
