It works because there is a free PHP client for Valentina Office Server. > Valentina server runs on Linux ? No, not at this time - however for this to be relevant, there really needs to be developers willing to create and deploy REALbasic applications on Linux in a real world scenario - relevant as in planning and doing, rather than just feeling like they want an option. I am certain there are some folks out there doing it - but what about thousands of commercial developers actually doing it - willing to build client-server apps right now? You see, it doesnt really matter how many copies are downloaded and given away of RB for Linux (and I understand there has been a LOT of them), if its not being used on a scale of thousands its not currently a viable market. Linux is in the cards for Valentina, however. But since there is a sizable contingent of Mac developers requiring a Univeral Binary version of Office Server, thats been the priority and its available now in public beta. Once REALbasic supports building Universal Binary applications, as long as the APIs havent become wacked in the process, Valentina UB for REALbasic will be out in very short order.
