Okay, I used usernet to connect, and I now stay connected. However, I still do not
have a peroper connection (telnet returns a host unknown, Netscape, too). I assume
that i have misconfigured netcfg. Here's what I have:
Under Names:
Hostname: wopr.frognet.net -my own silly domain
domain: frognet.net
Under Hosts:
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
0.0.0.0 wopr wopr.frognet.net
under interfaces:
lo 127.0.0.1 none yes active
ppp0 127.0.0.1 none yes inactive -I could see a possible problem here.
Should the IP in ppp0 agree withh wopr's? Since I assume this section is right, I
should change the hosts section, correct? Can i assign the same IP to two hosts?
In routing:
Default Gateway: <My ISP's gateway>
Gateway Device: /dev/ttyS2
I am getting close, I can feel it! :-) Please advise. Thanks for yr patience :-)
