Ray, get back to the realm of possibility. There is a zero percent chance that Smoltz will be traded before he gets to the majors and shows he can still pitch. And if he's successful, there's a zero percent chance he's used as a sweetener to take Papi off our hands.
If Papi can't shake this, there's a chance that the Sox will eat his contract, but they're not going to pay another team for the privilege.
