I use a Lights of America round "150 watt" equivalent PC
you could use most any cheap florescent. They like normal
light like most plants.
You pull of chunks once or twice a week, 1/3 to 1/2 of it
if you want, and feed it to tangs or toss it. The more
nutrients and the more you trim it the faster it grows.
If I put macro algae in the sump what kind of light do I need?
Also do I need to harvest it. If so how do I do that?
