Funny too, because it says nothing about that on the bottle. Not once do
they say "oh by the way, using this product will
f-up your alkalinity". Very nice. I guess I will have to keep a close eye on
my Alk for the next few days.
What products do you all recommend for phosphate removal??

hmm. about 8 mths ago i was having real trouble maintaining my alk,
tho
calcium levels were fine. i was running phosgaurd at that time.
without
making any connection to what you said i removed the phosguard,
changed some
water and shortly thereafter the alk started coming back up.
assuming what
you said is true then the imbalance was due to the phosgaurd. i had
assumed
some sort of ionic imbalance with mg or str.
