I heard from some 2 way techs for a non-Motorola shop had this as the
argument owner wants the max cranked out of the radio and the thing is the
antennas are Gain type to begin with, they argue short lived finals, they
keep it down on the Power Output so they don't have the call backs to
replace the finals all the time.

makes you wonder .. doesn't it ?
