For the record. I asked the 36C3 assembly organization about the table size. They replied that they cannot tell the exact size of the table we will get, as there are many different sizes. However the majority of the tables have something in the vicinity of 140cm x 70cm.
We can aim for a banner that is 140cm wide, with both pole pockets (for 36C3) and adhesive grommets (making it flexible for future events).
