Let's go for the poster/flyer then. Making the interactive demo would take much more time and effort, something we cannot afford right now (Replicant 9 is the priority). > This poster could be declined into small papers with references of pages on > replicant website (not included on poster) to be distributed to visitors as > Jeremy wrote. Yes, we could always do both: poster and flyers. The hardest part is creating the illustration. Having it printed on different mediums will be easier. I will be asking for quotes for the banner anyway, thus it's easy to ask for an extra one, this time with a portrait aspect ratio. On my previous email I was assuming that we could only print the poster on it's front side, as the back would be facing away from the public. However, it just occurred to me that we could have the poster tied just at one point to ceiling, so that it could rotate freely on it's z axis. We would just need to reinforce it with poster hanging strips (wood/aluminium) on top and bottom. This way we could print the back and front phone mockups on the back and front of the poster. Visitors could then rotate the poster or go around it to read both sides. Here's a very skilfully made hand drawing with a sketch of how Replicant's Assembly would look like (prepare to laugh xD): https://share.zalkeen.net/d/l/assembly-sketch.jpg Fil, could you create a sketch of the freedom/privacy/security issues illustration? A simple pencil and paper sketch will do. The goal is to have something with the idea in there, that someone with the design skills could use as inspiration for the final work. Could you also write the small texts that go with each arrow? I was thinking about the following title for the illustration: "What's wrong with your phone?" _______________________________________________ Replicant mailing list [email protected] https://lists.osuosl.org/mailman/listinfo/replicant
