Reminding this page https://replicant.us/freedom-privacy-security-issues.php I
wonder if some poster could be interesting to show in a simple way different
privacy issues on the phones.

It could be illustrated with several levels:
- apps with privacy issues (probably most known issues, which can be
illustrated with some flashlight app accessing to SD card, but I would think
some google/facebook app collecting GPS localisation would more efficient as an
example)
- system/drivers with privacy issues (with the example of Samsung backdoor).
- firmware with privacy issues (with bad modem isolation and closed booting
systems)
Those different examples would allow to show the Replicant perimeter of work
with examples to make it clear.

To organise this, I would use some scratch or magnetic shapes which could be
put on a metal/scratch flexible board. This board would makes appear the shape
of a phone (to allow to use it to make appear samsung backdoor in an example,
and and bad modem isolation in another example, on the same phone) with front
and back sides.
- On the front side, some app on the display could illustrate the app level
issue
- On the back side, several pieces like the modem, internal memory, and booting
(but where to place it?) would be identified to allow participants to associate
issues with both bad modem isolation and Samsung backdoor.

The goal would be to make visitors guess what issues could occur on their
phone, based on several shapes displaying several issues:
- privacy app
- closed driver sourcecode
- bad modem isolation
- booting system
- etc. (other examples could be added)

Do you think it could interest visitors?

- Fil Lupin.
