It seems suitable for Replicant. Although not ideal. It will have similar issues to the currently supported phones, like non-working WiFi and Bluetooth, due to the need for non-free firmware. However, it is an improvement: it can run a free software bootloader and has a strong community that is mainlining everything into u-boot and Linux.
