If you mean Francis Boyle, my sources are considerably wider, more 
dispassionate/impartial and definitely less committed to one side or the other 
than he is.  

Certainly the land taken in the wars is a matter of dispute but I was not 
talking about that and was careful to avoid doing so as you can see if you read 
my posting - I was talking about land owned by the Jews at the time of the 
original creation of Israel, which I thought was the topic. 

Obviously my mistake - I thought that when the postings to which I was 
responding talked about the original creation of Israel and the prior ownership 
land on which it was created that that was the subject.  I must have misread 
the postings to which I was responding.

Perhaps I am wrong but from my understanding of history the dispute (apart from 
the right of Israel to exist at all) is not about the land that was bought or 
owned by the Jews at the time of the creation of Israel but about land 
subsequently taken either in the 1948 war of independence or the 1967 war.  And 
I was not addessing taht issue.
