That is the Torah Biblical version. According to the old Testament God
gave Israel to the Jews and then they eliminated the Cannites (they
massacred them with the approval of their god..) That certainly is an
enlightened position to take and one worth emulating. Seriously, the
Biblical historical record is as full of holes as Swiss cheese.
