Finding a review by Martin Kramer which is most likely the one you quoted from below, I feel that you have not given proper attention to the positive aspects that Kramer relates about the book, namely that the central point of the book, the demographic argument is probably correct. Oh...well.......I really think that it is pointless to go on with this thread.......I like the book and find it useful for reference.......one can always critique any book for complete accuracy and credibility......each one has his/her own point of view. But I will tell you that I do not trust Finklestein, as he has dishonored his own parents and heritage, in my humble opinion. Minelle Paloff
(I quoted Kramer accurately, but I do not agree that the demographics are correct. They are based on the Turkish census which was not accurate nor timely. As a former area manager for the 1990 census I can tell you even our accuracy leaves much to speculation. Their census was also political. It was used to prove anything they wanted it to. No I don't agree with her demographics at all... Hank) ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Make a clean sweep of pop-up ads. Yahoo! Companion Toolbar.
